Jan and Grant would like to welcome you to their highland home to relax and unwind. Netherfield, their home, is set in beautiful surroundings and it gives them such joy and pleasure that they would like to share some of its delights with their guests.
Grant and Jan found Netherfield and were instantly drawn to its beautiful location, and the splendour of the large garden. Jan had the vision to see what alterations would enable the B&B venture to develop into a place where guests will be encouraged to admire the views towards the Cairngorm Mountains and enjoy the peace of the situation.
Grant, originally from Lanarkshire, where he was a police dog handler for the Strathclyde force, has always been keen on an outdoor life. His passion and pride for his country are evident, and he is happy to assist where possible with his knowledge of Scotland.
Jan, retired early from community nursing in Somerset and she and Grant moved to Scotland, has been enjoying re-furbishing Netherfield, where her flair in creating a pleasant home has resulted in a comfortable, spacious environment in which guests can enjoy their highland escape.
